I became a Second Saturday leader because I had a friend going through a divorce who had never handled the finances and was overwhelmed during her divorce. I guided her through the process which gave her great comfort and clarity during an incredibly tumultuous time. I realized there are many more women in her situation who may not know where to go for assistance. It makes me so happy to see the progress these women make as they gain the knowledge and confidence to make the best decisions for their financial futures. I am honored to be part of such a great organization!

This is my favorite quote because I have repeated it to myself during difficult times. I often find many women who attend my workshops are in relationships where they are made to feel inferior. They are made to feel they do not “deserve” a split of the assets or alimony. I try to instill in these women that they are equal partners in their respective relationships and they should fight for what they deserve.
